My name is Silvia Gilles and I have been designing and creating bears as a hobby since 1998. I am living near Cologne, Germany, with my family and my dog Bailey.
I always made bears and animals of my own patterns (learning by doing) and I loved taking part in teddy bear competitions all over the world. I am very proud that my creations made first places in competitions like “Toby” and “Golden Teddy Awards” (USA), “TITA” (Japan), EVA-Awards (UK), TED Worldwide (Europe), Golden George (Germany), French Teddy Awards (France) and some more.
All of my creations are made of high quality materials and fabrics. I like working with German mohair and alpaca, but also with high quality plush in combination with alpaca and mohair. Most of my bears and animals are mainly one-offs and small limited editions.
I love to get into contact with customers all over the world and to meet them at the teddy bear fairs in Germany.
