- a 'Collaboration Bear' ( Initiated by 'The bear lady at Forbes' - Joan Neowhouse, and completed in remembrance by Emma's Bears following her passing).

This is a whole new range of bears by Emma's Bears. They are an eclectic assortment of bears in all shapes and sizes, and all types of fur, in various states of completion, and cut from patterns and designs that are unknown/unfamiliar to us. We've taken on these initiated teds after their original crafter passed away, and her family were unsure what should happen to all her unfinished work.

This little cutie is made from the most delicious mohair - a soft grey/lavender/purple curly pile on a slightly more blue-purple backing. We've called her 'Jewel'.

Jewel looks out through deluxe black glass eyes and has been fully jointed. She is stuffed with polyfill and steel shot. There were no paw pad in her bag of pieces, so we cut some from a pretty batik-dyed purple cotton. We've shaded her face and paws and embroidered her nose in a DMC perle cotton.

We used a little more of the batik cotton to make her a gorgeous ruffle tutu. To finish her look we hand-beaded a tiny genuine Swarovski crystal necklace in matching lilacs and
lavenders.

Jewel is a One of A Kind bear. She comes with her identification tags.
