Aylwin's Old English name means 'Trusted Friend'. He is 5-way jointed, made of scruffy blonde mohair with black hairs interspersed. I have finished his ultrasuede paws and cap with a special wax process that makes them look like aged leather. His face is needle-sculpted and shaded to accentuate his contours. His eyes are violet glass, but they look rather brown with his surrounding neutral colors. His nose is waxed and polished to a soft sheen. Aylwin's shoulder wrap is crocheted in a continuous circle and wrapped about him. His look is finished off with a feather neck piece on a waxed cord and a feather in his cap.
