SIBERIA

SIBERIA is OOAK. She has been entirely designed and hand crafted by myself in a smoke free house. Many hours have gone into the conception and completion of this project.
MEASURES: 13 inches (33cm) from rear end to nose tip. Tail measures about 14 inches (35 cm)
MATERIALS: Spotted luxury faux fur. Eyes are of glass, whiskers of horse hair. Sheep wool for the needle felted area.
JOINTING & WIRING: Siberia is four ways (limbs) cotter pin jointed. All four legs are wired, tail is also wired. The head is attached to the body through a padded wire that gives Siberia a 'spine', and a natural head movement. Thanks to this system, Siberia can be positioned in many natural and fun ways.
STUFFING: Sheep wool and encased white granulate for some nice added weight.
FEATURES & TECHNIQUES: The face has been needle felted and hand painted. The eyes are also hand painted in several shades of blue. Extensive scissor sculpting was done to define face and limbs. Paw pads are made with Apoxie clay, and hand painted.
SIBERIA owns an embroidered felt collar. She always travels with her birth certificate. My creations have very distinctive birth certificates: they are always made in matching style and materials.

SIBERIA won an industry choice TOBY AWARD 2015 in the small animals category.
