Ivory is a 10" bear made of beautiful 1.25" white (whiter than photos depict) Schulte German mohair.
This very long mohair creates a frenzy of wispy tufts falling this way and that!
The only place it is trimmed is around her hands and feet.
Ivory's foot pads are made of matching German Merino wool felt with embroidered paw claws.
Her little nose is embroidered of very fine pearl cotton thread
and then waxed and buffed for a nice shine.
She has subtle airbrushed accents on her face, ears, and hands.
The pink and tan shading was accomplished by shaving pastels,
blending and applying the subtle color with a paintbrush
around her eyes, on her foot pads (pink only) and her inner ears.
Ivory's eyes are made of hand-blown premium German glass
She does not have the white "eyeliner" that I usually give my bears
as it did not compliment her little face!
Ivory is filled with polyfil and b.b.s.
She is fully jointed with a wobble jointed head (not too wobbly, though!)
Her lace ruff and matching hair bow are made from an antique net lace wedding hankie
and embellished with silk flowers and antique velvet ribbon leaves that I made for her.
Ivory is an old design with a twist.
I redesigned her head pattern adding darts on the sides
to create a wider, childlike face.
