I have been trying to make some smaller bears, which have not been the easiest for me to make. However, persistence pays off, and I feel my skills at getting a cute and expressive face have come a long way. This little girl is made out of Schulte mohair which is a beautiful gray with a hint of lavender. I have done extensive scissor and needle sculpting to her face . She has hand blown glass eyes, to which I have added eyelids. I added a double eyelid on the bottom, which gives her a wonderful, expressive look. Her nose is hand embroidered with pearl cotton. She wears a burgundy satin and chiffon ribbon along with a pink heart.

The bear is about 7" standing (which she does not do by herself) and 5" sitting. She is five way jointed with cotter pins. She has a pouch of BB’s in her belly for some added weight. She has ultrasuede paw pads, which have been sculpted. She does not have a name. Since she is being adopted, it is up to her new mother or father to give her a name they deem appropriate.
