Hello and welcome to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party! This little cast of characters sits atop a handmade (by me) Swiss millinery straw Top Hat trimmed with purple vintage ribbon. The overall vignette height is 4.5", with Alice measuring 2" overall, the mad Hatter 2.5" (not including his hat) and the March Hare standing 2.25" not including his ears. Each character is filled with pure wool and glass sand for weight and is string jointed.
Alice is made from long pile vintage velvet and short pile velvet for her legs, the Hatter is made from vintage long pile velvet and vintage rayon for his design incorporated costume, with a handmade (by me) Swiss millinery straw hat in hot pink, and the March Hare is handstitched from plush 'cashmere' velvet.
