Please, meet Ricciolino, a baby hedgehog entirely designed and hand crafted by myself.
Ricciolino is made of wonderful Schulte mohair and alpaca. The spiky part is mohair, the belly and the upper part of the legs are alpaca. The lower part of the limbs is made with ultra suede.

Ricciolino has a needle felted face and glass eyes. His face and feet are also oil shaded. He has an hand sculpted polymer clay nose. His hairline has been obtained through mohair rooting.

Ricciolino is four ways cotter-pin jointed (arms and legs). He is stuffed with sheep wool and encased decorative gravel for a nice weight.

Ricciolino lives in a flowery felt nest that I designed and embroidered for him. He is already enjoying a whiff of spring!
He also always travels with his birth certificate, made in matching style and materials.

Ricciolino is a collectors item not suitable for young children.
