Meet Miss Maisey. It is easy to imagine the care lavished on her by a devoted child long ago. It has created a spark in her soul that says, �Once I was just a toy, but your love has given me life.� Her light blonde mohair fur has been aged and shaded all about, front and back; her eyes are brown painted glass, her nose, smile and claws , sparsely embroidered in strong cotton thread. Maisey�s costume bears the freedom of innocent child-like creativity - a head band of well-worn recycled elastic with a pair of non-matching vintage buttons added, and a necklace of vintage lace and taffeta cinched with a rusty safety pin and hung with a lone vintage daisy earring. Miss Maisey longs for the company of someone who will love her like that child of so many years ago.
