Meet my latest guinea pig creation - a gorgeous patchy/roan-like boy in creams, chocolates and blacks. He is an open edition in this fur ( but I only have enough of this fur to make about a dozen guinea pigs in this colour way, so pigs like this will be rare).

Reid is made entirely from a stunning realistic multi-tonal brown/black faux fur with a darker undercoat.He looks out through shiny black safety eyes, and has a hand sculpted (not moulded) black polymer clay guinea pig nose. The inner ears are cream and black, with shaven back feet for realism. He is stuffed with a light polyfill and a scattering of pellets in his belly to help him balance on that pudgy tummy.

THE IMPORTANT STUFF: This guinea pig is extra special. $10 from the sale of this lovely cavy will be donated to my local guinea pig shelter (The Cavy Cottage) to help with the care and re-homing process of surrendered guinea pigs. Two of my guinea pig family originate from this awesome shelter). So now you can feel warm and fuzzy for helping out guinea pigs in need while adopting your own warm and fuzzy guinea pig plushie!
