Meet Maisy the Guinea Pig.

Maisy is my first guinea pig design prototype. I wanted to create a mohair piggy that was a little more life like than my last lot of stylised ones. She is made from a multi-tonal LouBear mohair for her body that gives the effect of a real golden agouti guinea pig, and has wispy cream mohair for her nose, chest and belly. She looks out through big black deluxe glass eyes, is stuffed with a polyfill mix and has a hand embroidered nose. Her ears and feet have been shaved back to add to her guinea-pig realism, and her feet also have toes/claws embroidered in.

Maisy is a sweet, one of a kind artist guinea pig. As a prototype however, she is not quite perfect (her belly is really fat, giving her a rolly-polly pregnant look, her feet are a little funny sticking out the front, and her bottom is a little too arched), so her adoption fee is a little less than her more 'perfect' brothers and sisters! The adoption price still includes registered airmail postage worldwide.
