I am very happy to introduce you to something a little different... "Izzy the Guinea Pig"!

THE IMPORTANT STUFF: This guinea pig is extra special. $10 from the sale of this lovely cavy will be donated to my local guinea pig shelter (The Cavy Cottage) to help with the care and re-homing process of surrendered guinea pigs. Two of my guinea pig family originate from this awesome shelter). So now you can feel warm and fuzzy for helping out guinea pigs in need while adopting your own warm and fuzzy guinea pig plushie!

Izzy is the result of a weeks worth of designing to try and get the guinea pig shape right! (If you've been following my blog, no doubt you are as sick of my guinea pig design issues as I am!).

Izzy is a tri-colour piggy in black, cream and brown agouti (chocolate tipped) mohair. She is stuffed with a polyfill mix and has some pellets in her belly to help keep her stable (that fat belly drags on the ground a bit!). She looks out through deluxe, black glass eyes and has a pale pink embroidered nose/mouth. Her feet and ears have been shaven back to help add to her guinea-pig realism.

Izzy is a one of a kind artist guinea pig, and a real sweetheart to boot! Her adoption fee includes regular airmail worldwide.
