Hello, thank you for taking a closer look at Mignon! A true miniature design of mine, she sits at a very petite 1.5". She is handstitched from the increasingly hard to find long pile Vintage upholstery velvet in traditional Gold. Mignon is weighted with stainless steel, and filled with pure Australian wool. She has 5 joints, with a wobble cotterpin and disc in her head, and strong string jointing for her limbs. Her eyes are blown glass, and her face is needle and scissor sculpted, as well as airbrushed- not coloured with markers or pencils.
Mignon is dressed for a lovely Garden Party, in a French lace skirt with a silk ribbon sash, and a pink cloche style hat adorns her head. As with all my signature hats, it was handstitched just for her by myself, from fine swiss millinery straw. It's trimmed with silk tulle and a few tiny pink velvet millinery flowers. A final touch is a few Aurora Borealis Swarovski crystals.
