This dumpy little fellow is Maximus, the latest from my run of 'things that never got finished' bag! Maximus was half completed way back when I first started making my mohair guinea pigs, but for some reason got placed in a bag and forgotten about.

He's actually quite lovely. Made from five very different mohair fabrics; some really long, others really dense, and another quite textured! I made some changes to the way I completed his face, giving him a little more of an 'anime' look. He has big black deluxe glass eyes, suede whites, and embroidered and shaded nose and sweet waxed whiskers. His head is cotterpin jointed and he is stuffed with polyfill and glass beads.

Maximus is a one of a kind artist guinea pig and his adoption fee includes registered airmail worldwide.
