Please meet Floss, She has been made especially for my Mum to celebrate her birthday.
She is made from an original Bears of Bath pattern.
The miniature painted panel, acrylic on canvas, measures approx 6 cms in diameter and the fine details are painted using a 5x0 paintbrush!

Floss is approx 22 cms tall and is made from long, gorgeous soft and silky, Schulte 22mm Natural Laid Old Gold Mohair. She has hand painted facial details, with a hand embroidered nose which has been varnished. She is fully cotterpin jointed with black glass eyes. She has cashmere on her paws and foot pads, and is filled using quality polyester stuffing with some plastic pellets for added weight.Her nose is embroidered with brown thread. Her belly is painted and varnished canvas.

Hand painted onto heavy top quality artists cotton canvas the painting is tough and durable, however machine washing is not recommended.The canvas is fully primed using several layers and then painted with quality Daler acrylics.The painting also has several layers of varnish to seal and protect the painting.

'Floss' is hand sewn and from a pet and smoke free home.

Bears of Bath is a member of the Guild of Master Bear Crafters
& a finalist of the British Bear Artist Awards 2007
Bears of Bath has also appeared in Teddy Bear Club International.

Please note this is a collectors bear and is therefor not suitable for children under 14 years old .
