Hello dear bear friends! Please meet Miss Tallulah Bea. She is the first offering for my new traditional dressed bear. These bears will all be OOAK. They will all have differences in eye sizes and placement, nose and mouth stitching, and ear placement. Some bears will have shorter legs than others. Some bears will be airbrushed and some will not. Some may be more aged than others. Clothing will all be different as well. I’m using all the antique and vintage pieces of fabric and trims I’ve collected over the years to fashion each piece of bear clothing. In some instances I may use vintage or antique doll clothing. Without further ado please read on for Miss Tallulah Bea’s personal information.

Miss Tallulah Bea is a traditional center seam bear and is fully jointed and lightly filled with polyfil. For a bit of added weight, she has a securely sewn pouch of stainless steel shot in her tummy. Miss Tallulah Bea is made of mohair and has wool felt paw pads. She also has glass eyes and a perle cotton nose, mouth and claws. Her legs are skinny and long

Miss Tallulah Bea’s dressings consist of bloomers, a slip, and dress. The boomers and slip are made from antique linens and trims. Her dress is made from high quality vintage Moda fabric. I’ve had this fabric for years and finally found a collection of bears worthy of its use. It is so very pretty in person with sprays of roses. And last, but certainly not least, is the 1920’s crochet posie basket sewn onto Tallulah Bea’s dress.
