Wishful is made of hand dyed vintage mohair. Because of the nature of this vintage mohair the look is an over all mottled aqua blue. I only hand dyed one small piece of mohair this color, making Wishful truly one of a kind. Not to mention his feet are smaller and his tummy rounder than his siblings. This sweet bear has glass eyes, a perle cotton nose and mouth, and airbrushed detailing on paws and ears. Wishful is filled with polyfil and is fully five way jointed. A snippet of silk ribbon and a hand stamped salt dough tag are his only adornments.

My bears are all one of a kind collectibles. Though a head and face may look similar, I’m constantly changing my patterns so no two bears will be identical. They may or may not have paw pads, long or short arms/legs, airbrushing or not. Try as I might to be exact, noses and mouths always look different. This will be especially apparent in a new line of bears I’ve been working on.
