“Miss Daisy” is an elegant 10” bear sewn from reclaimed lynx, white fox and white mink. Lynx is a hard fur to find and I can usually only find it in a collar. Because there just isn’t enough fur for a full head, I have mixed it with white fox, with the lynx fur framing her inset muzzle and the white fox fur making up the rest of her head. The length of the two furs is the same so the transition from one fur to the other is very smooth. Her ears, body, arms and legs are an elegant white mink, and matches the white tips of the lynx fur. Her ultrasuede pawpads and inset muzzle perfectly match the golden brown of the lynx fur. All of this comes together to form a very pleasing combination of matching colors and a beautiful bear. Miss Daisy is five way jointed so head, arms and legs all turn and I have sewn her a brown perle nose and mouth. Stuffed with personality, polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, Miss Daisy comes with an adoption certificate stating that she is an original creation by myself, Wendy Shelby.
