“Waffles” is a handsome 15” mohair bear with wonderful pot belly and will even growl if you turn him upside down (due to the growler in his tummy). Waffles’s medium length mohair is a very pleasing light yellowish orange. I have sewn him a brown perle cotton nose, darkened around his eyes and nose and cut back the mohair on his muzzle to give him a stubbly unshaven look. I have done the same to his two ears. He sees the world through black glass eyes, is five way jointed so head, arms and legs all move and has golden light brown ultrasuede paw pads. I have firmly stuffed his head with polyester stuffing and filled the rest of him with wood shavings. He wears a removeable brown leather collar that matches his nose. Waffles comes with an adoption certificate certifying that he is a creation by myself, Wendy Shelby. His little friend does not come with him.

I have been sewing fur bears for over thirty years. I am now in my seventies and no longer able to continue making bears due to arthritis in my shoulders and neck. However, I still have many beautiful bears that I have sewn sitting throughout my home looking for adventure. I will be selling these bears on Bearpile. I hope you enjoy them and are able to adopt one or two. I have thoroughly enjoyed creating these bears and am pleased to offer these last ones to you.
