“Grizzle” is a 10” bear sewn from reclaimed brown fox and mink. Her lush brown fox fur continues from her head to form a shawl over her shoulders and chest. The rest of her body, arms and legs are sewn from reclaimed dark brown mink. Her sweet face has a light brown Ultrasuede inset that matches her pawpads and I have stitched her a dark brown perle cotton nose. Grizzle sees the world through black bead eyes and is stuffed with personality, polyester stuffing and plastic pellets for a nice weight. She is five way jointed so head, arms and legs all moved and is signed and numbered and comes with an adoption certificate certifying that she is an original creation by myself, Wendy Shelby. Grizzle comes from a smoke free home.
I have been sewing fur bears for over thirty years. I am now in my seventies and no longer able to continue making bears due to arthritis in my shoulders and neck. However, I still have many beautiful bears that I have sewn sitting throughout my home looking for adventure. I will be selling these bears on Bearpile. I hope you enjoy them and are able to adopt one or two. I have thoroughly enjoyed creating these bears and am pleased to offer these last ones to you.
