This bear has a special destiny.
I started making it until February 24, 2022. But on this day, a war began in Ukraine. Russia treacherously attacked at 5 o'clock in the morning and I had to throw everything, including this teddy at home, right into the box with the shavings I used to stuff it. He spent seven months alone in an abandoned apartment in Kyiv. I thought of him almost as a living creature, and when the opportunity arose, I brought him to Spain.
His ears were never found. We had to find a replacement for him - ears made of mohair, similar in color. So it's made from a lovely vintage plush. Sewn completely by hand without a sewing machine. English glass eyes. The nose and claws are embroidered. Heels and palms made of linen. He wears an antique silver colored bell and a silk ribbon. All wood shavings and wood fiber. A little mineral granulate for weight. Stands and sits with support.
Aged and toned with artistic oil.
