Once upon a time, there was a little bear named Edward who loved to search for old treasures in the forest. One sunny afternoon, as he wandered among the trees, he stumbled upon a stunning pendant glimmering in the sunlight.

Curious, Edward picked it up and admired its intricate design. Just then, a wise old owl perched nearby began to hoot softly. "That pendant is very special," she said. "Many years ago, it belonged to a queen who passed through these woods. She must have dropped it."

The owl felt a pang of jealousy, wishing the pendant had come to her instead of a simple bear. For an entire week, the feeling gnawed at her heart. Finally, she decided to confide in Edward about her feelings.

One evening, the owl flew down and said, "Edward, I’ve been envious of you for having the pendant. I am a wise creature, yet I feel bitter."

Edward, being a kind bear, replied, "You can wear it whenever you want! It’s just an object, and treasures are meant to be shared."

The owl was so touched by his generous offer that she didn’t know what to say. "Thank you, dear Edward," she finally whispered. From that day on, they became the best of friends, sharing stories and the beauty of the forest together.
