This handmade composition was created exclusively by me for the online show Teddy Mission Summer Joy 2024.

🐻 Fishing Teddy Bear is the centerpiece of the composition. The Teddy Bear with big expressive green eyes watches as the clever fish 🐟 in the transparent pond refuse to get caught on the hook.

🌊 Realistic Pond: The artificial pond, made of epoxy resin, perfectly imitates water. The pond has a round shape and depth, adding dynamics and realism to the entire scene.

Working with epoxy resin made me sweat: I poured it in 3 layers, allowing each layer to dry for 12 hours. In total: 2 layers of 12 hours and another 24 hours for the last layer. Over 48 hours, I protected the base from children, dust, and anything else that could harm this beauty!

🎨 Decorative Details:

Tall reeds behind the bear give the scene a natural and harmonious look.
Herman Melville's book 🐋 "Moby Dick, or The Whale" and a clock symbolize relaxation and cozy rest.
A metal bucket on the right completes this fairy-tale composition. The bucket is empty :(

🖼 Composition Base: The artificial pond shore with a textured surface, imitating grass and soil, adds extra realism and attractiveness to the composition. Made of plaster, the base is quite heavy.
