Please meet my latest and smallest ever creation! Measuring 3 inches / 8cm long with wing’s extended and 1.5 inches / 4cm tall
A realistic blue Butterfly - species Common Blue / Polyommatus icarus .
The common blue is said to be Europe’s most common blue butterfly hence its name. It’s often found in meadows, grasslands and woodland clearings.
I have sewn the butterfly from silky soft very short viscose fabric and I have meticulously shaded the wings to match the delicate wing pattern of a male common blue, with one side of the wings being a beautiful vibrant blue and the other side featuring shades of brown and orange.
His body and abdomen are also sewn from viscose and his head is hand sculpted from flexible clay.
His tiny legs are made from wire with teeny tiny hand sculpted detail!
His antenna are also created from wire with sculpted detail.
He also has an armature in his wings so they can be posed open or closed, his legs can also be gently posed so he can be positioned/ attached to small objects.
He comes complete with his little wooden display box which I have hand engraved with the Species name, as shown in the photos he look’s beautiful displayed sitting on top of the box and can also be placed inside it.
He will also come to his new home with a Hayley Walker original design hand tag, certificate of authenticity and care instructions.
He has also been created in a clean and smoke free studio.
Please note that this butterfly and all my other creations are not intended to be toys, they are collectible pieces of art.

Each bear / animal will come to their new home securely packed and nicely presented. They are all made in a completely smoke free environment / studio. All shipping includes tracking and insurance.

Return and Refund Policy
I really hope you love your new critter, but if for any reason you are unhappy, please let me know by emailing me and I will do my very best to help you. The bear must be returned in original condition and carefully packed via an insured and tracked delivery service. A refund will then be given within 14 days of me receiving the returned item. Refunds do not include return delivery charges.
