Luna and Tawny Owls

Luna Owl is the sweetest baby.

She stands at 18 cm (7 inches) excluding crown and basket, but is nice and chunky with her tubby belly and weight.

She is 20.5 cm (8 inches) including crown which is fixed to the head.

She has a completely hand sculpted face and head that is jointed.

She is made of stunning dense Alpaca fur.

Completely hand stitched.

Claws are made of wire and thread and then gessoed.

She has the most beautiful quality glass doll eyes that are a warm brown colour.

Her crown is adorned with glass and wood stitched beads of different weights and varieties. They have been aged for effect.

She stands in a lovely basket but looks equally beautiful on her own.

The beads are recycled.

Tawny Owl

From claws to the top of the highest point of crown is approximately 24 cm (9.4 inches) - note: crown is fixed on head.

Although she is not very tall she is a solid chunky piece.

Head is completely hand sculpted.

Fur is stunning quality Alpaca.

Beautiful warm brown glass eyes.

Head is movable.

Claws are made of wire, fabric and gesso.

Polyester and glass pellet filled for good weight.

Crown has been adorned with hand beaded recycled materials (very time consuming).

The pearl necklace is very old and was a gift to be used on my creations.

Recycled nest and necklace.

A gorgeous chunky girl.
