Please meet my latest baby Rosie, she is a life size and very cute 7 week old Dandie Dinmont terrier puppy!
Rosie is a completely one of a kind soft sculpture and so realistic you would think she is real! She is a bit special as she has a little secret, she has a small inner voice box so when her left side / area by her heart is pressed she makes cute little puppy barks for 20 seconds!! Please see the video to hear her voice! Dandie Dinmonts are an ancient Scottish dog breed. They are a rare breed with only around one hundred puppy litters born each year. They were famously named after a fictional character in Sir Walter Scott’s novel Guy Mannering . Dandies are such characters and hold a special place in my heart, they are intelligent and very loyal. Puppies are born with dark coats, which gradually lighten with age. They have long bodies, short legs and have distinctive top- knot curly hair on their heads!
Rosie is a life size pup and measures 13 inches / 34cm long and 10 inches / 26cm tall. She is sewn from luxurious dense tipped silky soft German Schulte mohair fabric which is absolutely beautiful, and matches the colour and texture of a 7 week old dandie puppies coat perfectly. I have also realistically shaded her face using archival fabric inks.
She has beautiful large brown glass eyes with eye lids which have a looking at you effect complete with eye whites giving her those puppy dog eyes expression that dandies do so well!
I have also hand sculpted and painted her glossy nose from soft clay and individually hand sculpted her black paw pads including front carpal pads from a flexible clay.
Her ears are fully poseable and she has an inner skeletal armature in her body, legs, tail and head which makes her very easy to pose in various realistic positions. Including standing, sitting, laying, and even walking positions! Her head is also fully poseable and can be moved looking up, down and side to side. I have taken great care to recreate the muscle tone and long but chunky shape of a Dandie pup in Rosie’s design .
She is filled with poly fibre and is weighted to give her a nice feel when held.
Rosie will come to her new home complete with her beautiful removable bow necklace, handmade using paw print ribbon and embellished with felt roses and flowers. She also comes with a matching hair bow with a felt rose brooch which she loves to wear! She also has a sewn in Hayley walker designs label, and comes with my logo bandanna collar and certificate of authenticity signed by me with her name on.
Please note that Rosie is not a toy and not suitable for children under the age of 14. She is a collectable soft sculpture piece of art to be treasured for years to come.
She comes from a clean and smoke free studio.

Return and Refund Policy
I really hope you love your new critter, but if for any reason you are unhappy, please let me know by emailing me and I will do my very best to help you. The bear must be returned in original condition and carefully packed via an insured and tracked delivery service. A refund will then be given within 14 days of me receiving the returned item. Refunds do not include return delivery charges.
