This is just the sweetest little set of critters i have ever made!!! (yes - i am just slightly obsessed with these guys!).

Meet mumma guinea pig 'Cherry', and her two little babies 'Popcorn' and 'Pip'.

Cherry is 7" long by approx 3" tall - give or take a few cm for the dip of her spine and the rise of her shoulders and head. Her babies are 4" (10cm) long and approx 1.5" tall (4cm). The babies are actually pretty accurately sized as newborn baby guinea pigs.

Cherry is made from four different mohair fabrics. Her right hand side and eye patch are made from a matted and wavy cinnamon-ginger mohair with black guard hairs, while her left hand side and eye patch are made from a dusky grey-brown mohair. Her head, tummy and inner ears are made from a shorter golden yellow mohair. She looks out through big black deluxe black glass eyes, has ultra suede whites, hand embroidered facial features and a cotter pin jointed head. She is stuffed with poly fill and glass beads.

Popcorn is made from a lovely thick golden-ginger mohair with a creamy face and beige belly. She has one little darker ginger-tan with dark tips mohair ear. She has big black deluxe glass eyes, ultra suede whites, hand embroidered facial features, a cotterpin head joint and is stuffed firmly with polyfill and glass beads. She is a perfect little replica of an adult guinea pig!

Pip made exactly the same as Popcorn, accept for his colouring. He has the darker ginger-tan with black tips mohair eye patches and rump, with the golden-ginger band around his shoulders and a creamy face. (He also has a beige mohair belly).

This is a one of a kind artist guinea pig family set. They would make a lovely addition to an artist bear collection, or as a companion for a pet-loving teddy, or simply as a keepsake for a guinea pig lover.
