Meet little Amélie, a sweet little miniature mohair girl hand sewn from curly German mohair, sitting at approx. 6.5cm/2.5” or approx. 8cm/3” overall. She has 5 cotter pin and disc joints and is filled with pure wool and stainless steel beads for weight, and has German glass eyes. Her face is needle and scissor sculpted as well as gently shaded.

Amélie wears a dress of the softest peachy coloured antique French cotton lace I found at a flea market in Paris. This lace was on its original card and still had the label on it from the store! I designed the dress with sort of a 20s feel, two layers of lacy ruffles, with a little silk bow at the front and a tiny golden Eiffel Tower to remind her of her homeland:) To complete her outfit I gave her a 20s style lace headband with a fluffy bow and topped it with a peachy velvet vintage millinery flower, sprinkled with some sparkling aurora borealis crystals that shimmer when they catch the light.
