Meet lovely big black bear Gulliver! This big chunky guy is made from 3 different high quality faux furs. German Schulte and Tissavel. His long body fur feels devine, it is so dense and long you can loose your hands in it! He is the last of his kind, as sadly there is no more of this special fur that gives him such a full bodied look, allowing his limbs to be inset in such a realistic way.

His body has a full internal skeleton, with a loc line spine, strong wire in his limbs. Using 4 specially made 6mm thick birch wood disk joints in his limbs. He has a full set of polymer clay claws, wired in, and joined to the armature, each one can be individually moved. His squashy pads are hand sewn from Italian leather, stuffed and pulled. He has extensive needle and scissor sculpting to his head, and layers of ink to tone his face. His beautiful big nose finishes his look, it’s hand sculpted directly onto his muzzle from apoxy clay, on a needle felted base. He’s wonderfully poseable, able to move in lots of ways. He even has wired ears to make lots of adorable expressions. I had such fun photographing him. He has a lovely weight to him, over 4kg. Filled with soft pellets and steel shot, heavy and soft filling were needed.
