Flore has a wonderful face. It’s an old doll head ( but I am not a specialist ! ) made of porcelain. The eyes are are made of glass and blue gray. I colored the fabrics for the body to go with this beautiful eye color. She has an open mouth and one can see 4 little teeth. Under the right eye she has a fissure but it does not go through one cannot see anything on the inside of the head and I can guarantee that it will not break. You can see the fissure on the pictures and for me it’s a mark of time. The body is made of Steiff mohair and Steiff viscose hand dyed. Flore is filled with glass granulate and cotton wool. She wears a tutu of tulle, a clowns collar and is decorated with old lace and silk flowers.
