Jorinde and Joringel is my favorite fairytale of the Brothers Grimm. And when I finished this teddy girl it was Jorinde for me. Very vintage with a mien a bit melancholic. I needed a time, but now I can let her go. She wears an old doll dress I found on a flea market and the roses on her head I found in a little shop in London.
Jorinde is made from German mohair and beautiful vintage fabrics, all is hand dyed to give an antique look. The black glass eyes are handmade and she is filled with cotton wool and glass granulate.
