This miniature owl is made in a mixture of different techniques like crocheting, sewing, painting. It is is stuffed with wool. Cotton and faux fur threads were used to get this realistic furry effect. The owl is designed to stand by itself. The owl has got thread jointed head so you can turn it carefully.
This bird has got handpainted eyes, handsculptured polymerclay beak. Its legs are armatured with a metal wire. I also used oill paints to give more colour and shades to the owl`s fur after trimming and brushing.
