I'm very pleased to introduce you to a very special and luxurious bear called Acanthus Mollis. Her name is inspired from the beautiful colours of the plant in the same name who's beautiful colours are reflected in her fur and also feature in the beautiful designs of William Morris.
Created especially for Carol's Bears of Bath.

This fur is so luxurious and soft. This is the 60mm lemon peacock pile faux fur and 80mm natural faux fur and she has been a joy to model.

This bear has to be one of the most beautiful and soft that I have worked with and I enjoyed every moment modelling her
.
This beautiful Capability Bear has been a labour of love spanning several days. I really wanted to sculpt her carefully and really bring to life. Every part of her is created from new patterns designed to bring out something completely new.
Her head has been carefully scissor sculpted over many hours and then gently shaded using acrylic paints to accent shadows and give her personality and life.

She has 12mm English Black Glass eyes with 14mm brown eyelids. Her nose has been made from olive green faux cashmere, airbrushed in brown, then carefully sewn into place.

She is fully cotterpin jointed and filled with dense polyester filling for extra weight. When standing She is approx 10-11 inches high. She has unique hand designed cotton fabric, inspired from the designs of William Morris which are on her ear and foot pads. She has a fabric 'Carol' s Bears of Bath' satin ribbon in Royal Blue and gold lettering, sewn into her back.

She will arrive at her new home, carefully wrapped in a strong box, with her certificate of authenticity.
