Christmas Nightmare is a piece inspired by the film Of a similar name.
One side is a jolly snowman head with large glass eyes and a carrot nose. His mouth is a string of beads and he has rosy cheeks. He is made gorgeous thick short pile mohair.
On his head is a depiction of Christmas town.The little house is red cotton with a snowy silk roof and chenille chimney. The windows are vintage buttons edged in chenille.The door has vintage tinsel trim and a gold door knob.
Jolly faux christmas lights are draped on the roof.
A chenille Christmas tree stands at the door and a little velvet snowman with a felt hat and scarf is on the other side. He has glass eyes and rosy cheeks.
Turn it round and you have a scary pumpkin face made with hand dyed dense mohair. His eyes are amber glass with felt backs. His nose is a felt triangle and he has a ric rac braid mouth.
The flip side of Christmas town house is Halloween town house made ith grey linen, a black felt roof, black window and door and a pumpkin coloured door handle. On one side we have two teensy chenille pumpkins with glass eyes and on the other a tombstone. A creepy chenille tree climbs the wall.
It is filled with cotton and steel shot.
