“Slater” is a very fluffy 11.5” bear sewn from reclaimed vintage grey opossum fur. His head is designed to look up as he is very taken by the night sky and is constantly on the look out for new stars. By sitting him down, however, he can be adjusted to look at you. The close-up of Slater’s face give you a good view of his fur ...it is very fine fur with a bit of a krimp and very thick and so soft. I have given Slater a light grey ultrsasuede inset muzzle (that matches his pawpads), a black perle cotton nose and mouth and oblong black button eyes to better see those beautiful stars. Slater is five way jointed with wooden discs, screws and locknuts enabling his head, arms and legs to turn. Fully lined for strength, Slater is stuffed with personality, polyester stuffing and plastic pellets for a nice weight. He comes with a red bow tie around his neck, an adoption certificate stating his name and number and certifying that he is an original creation by myself, Wendy Shelby. Slater comes from a smoke free home.
