SewManyTeddies is a sole trade business that I created when I became disabled. I was unable to work in a setting i was familiar to and began to make bears as a hobby. In 2015 I started to create more traditional jointed bears, learning from online videos, and other sources I could find. In 2017 I registered as a business, hoping that my little friends that I make could travel the world.
I decided that I wanted to add more to my bears, which is when I began to write my stories. I have a bear myself who is named Toby. She lives in a world where all these amazing creatures come to visit her, or are created by her. These stories are all personal to the bear that you adopt and are an item that only you can experience.
I started making bears 3 years ago, continuously, and although I still feel like a newbie, I like to believe that my bears have that something special that will find a space in your heart.
All bears are have; faux fur, glass eyes, steel shot or plastic pellets depending on size, Cotter pin joints and come with an accessory, adoption certificate and a story. They currently range from 5 inches to 13 inches but this will change as I progress.
