Sapphire is made of vintage, hand-dyed Schulte German mohair with reverse mohair foot pads.
She is fully jointed (loosely, yet securely with cotter pins and disks)
Her head is tightly wobble jointed, so it moves up and down and side to side but it's not real wobbly.
Her arms have lock-line armature, enabling them to bend at her elbows and wrists.
Her eyes are made of hand-blown premium German glass backed with wool felt whites
Her nose, mouth and claws are embroidered of black perle cotton.
Sapphire is gently filled with polyfil, poly pellets and b.b.s for weight.
She wears a vintage satin/rayon ribbon ruff around her neck.
