Meet 'Yum', named by my 2 year old daughter. She doesn't have many words in her vocabulary yet. Mainly the important stuff like 'hug', 'chok-lat', 'no', 'daddad', 'poo' etc. So when I asked her what she thought this bear should be called, and she said 'yum', I thought it was a pretty cool name. (but probably the first and last time she'll name a bear while she's so little as her suggestion for my second little purple bear was unintelligible!!).

Yum is made from a piece of tie-dyed mohair, lovingly created by Alison from eTeddies. The fur changes colour from crazy vibrant fushia pink, to subtle lavender purple - with all the tones in between! She is fully T-pin jointed and stuffed firmly with polyfill and glass beads. She looks out through OOAK hand painted glass eyes in a mix of sky-blue, shimmery purple, electric blue and silver. They really are impossible to do justice for with words or even my photographic abilities!

Yum features lavender purple leather hand and paw pads with heavy silk-dye shading and hand sewn dark purple claws. She has a hand embroidered nose and a bit more shading to her eyes, face, and inner ears. I've made Yum a simple little cluster pendant featuring a silver-tone metal filigree heart, a purple faux crystal gem, and some sky-blue glass cats eye beads strung on a black satin cord.

Yum is a one of a kind artist bear. There will be one more bear made with the last of this fur, but she is an entirely different size/style. Yum's adoption fee includes registered airmail worldwide. No more to pay.
