Meet Eliza the Vampire. She is a rather lovely vampire though. She prefers to suck the juice from grapes rather than blood (blood is just a little too messy for her). Due to her rather unusual diet, she has a soft, sweet scent of grape to her fur.

Eliza is the finished product of my earlier Kool Aid dyeing session. She is the result of the Grape Kool Aid dyed piece of mohair that was boiled to obtain the rich purple of her fur (this is also why she comes with her own grape-scent!). Due to the hand-dyed nature of her fur, some patches have soaked up the colour differently leading to really dark splotches of purple, mid-purple and even some lilac-blue spots.

Eliza is fully jointed (locknut for her neck and cotterpin for her limbs). She is stuffed with polyfill and glass beads in her belly, hands and feet. Her hands, feet, inner ears, eyes and nose have all been lightly shaded with choc silk dye. She also has a very sweet hand-embroidered nose.

Eliza's amazing eyes are handmade sparkly crackle glass eyes from Russia. They feature a black pupil surrounded by a gradually darkening pink iris. I have hand sculpted her eye lids in a custom coloured polymer clay. (I'm actually really happy with how close I managed to match the purple of her lids to the purple of her fur!). Eliza also features super sweet ultra suede vampire fangs that have been securely, and invisibly sewn in place. They will handle reasonable tugs and positioning, but will most likely come off if you really pull at them with some force.

Lastly, Eliza wears a crimson felt heart with her name embroidered on it in white around her neck. She is a one of a kind artist bear, and her adoption fee includes registered airmail worldwide.
